Montnets Signs Collaboration Agreement with Telkomsel and Multitech Infomedia, Opening a New Chapter in the Expansion of Next-Generation Messaging Products Abroad

Hong Kong, March 7, 2024 - Montnets International Communications (HK) Co., Ltd. (Montnets), has signed a collaboration agreement with Indonesia's largest telecommunication service provider, Telkomsel, and Multitech Infomedia on Wednesday (6/3) in Jakarta, Indonesia, to jointly develop NET Message for business, a short messaging service featuring text, images, and videos that are more engaging and do not consume customers' internet quota.

Aiming to introduce a multimedia messaging product, NET Message, that aligns with trends and the evolving needs of mobile customers in Indonesia, this collaboration between Montnets, Telkomsel, and Multitech Infomedia marks a new chapter in Montnets’ strategy to expand its telecommunications products abroad.

Southeast Asia, as a driver of global economic growth, deserves special attention. As the country with the highest population and rapid technological development in Southeast Asia, Indonesia itself has a very large growth potential. Currently, Montnets, Telkomsel, and Multitech have successfully completed the Proof-of-Concept (POC) stage and started routing connections in the field. A commercial trial is planned to take place starting March 2024.

Going forward, Montnets will also work with operators in other countries and regions in the strategy of developing these multimedia messaging products in foreign markets.
